Bolsa Knolls Middle School home of the Bobcats located in Salinas Valley since 2010 Bolsa Knolls is most known for their award-winning Robotics and engineering program each year students compete in place in the Regional High School in addition to robotics students are offered a variety of electives such as world and pop culture music art cooking Spanish leadership Avid environmental science also offers 121 Chromebook devices in order students to have the tools necessary to be prepared in the 21-century Bolsa Knolls also enjoys rewarding students for their academic achievement through honor roll Bingo Beach trips bowling trip and as well as field trip students enjoy the Egyptian Museum in 6th grade the zoo in 7th grade and kayaking in the Moss Landing Slough in 8th grade in the six students have the opportunity to go to science camp and explore nature in the Santa Cruz mountains in the 8th grade students have the unique opportunity to visit our country's capital Washington DC on Unforgettable experience Bolsa Knolls is home to a very athletic department winning championships in volleyball basketball track in the last several years parent involvement is always welcome at BK we offer a parent resource center that is open twice a week our school counselor also facilitates parent information meeting along with coffee and treat finally our teachers and administration are the best recently teachers were equipped with new research-based strategies when they travel to Stanford's Educational Department a principal mr. Gutierrez also 180s a middle school principal administrator of the year for region 10 for his hard work and dedication
