Ms. Brenda Burritt » Welcome Class of 2021!

Welcome Class of 2021!

Welcome Students, Parents, and Guardians!

My name is Ms. Burritt and the 2020-2021 school year starts my 20th year in education in the Santa Rita Union School District. I am a pioneer of Bolsa Knolls Middle School, I have been here since the start.

This district holds a special place in my heart as it was the district that I spent my elementary and middle school years. I never thought I would be starting my 20th year in a distance learning environment, but I am making the best of the situation.

I will be your students Math teacher for 8th grade. As this is my 20th year in teaching, I have experience on how students can be successful. It takes a commitment from the student and the parent to make this partnership successful.

I truly believe, now more than ever, that the relationship with the teacher, student, and parent is critical for students success. Please have your student review their emails, grades, and communications with their teachers with you.

Those are just a few things you can do to help them with their success this school year.

As the site AVID Elective teacher I will be using my expertise to help guide your students to be successful now and in the future. I will be using Focus Note Taking strategies and Organizational Skills to help our students gain new skills for the modern day classroom and their future.

Advancement Via Individual Determination

Avid is a college readiness system designed to increase the number of students who enroll and persist in colleges and universities.  Avid focuses on College and Career Readiness.

I am honored to be part of our school community here at Bolsa Knolls Middle School.
